Slack
Slack, the popular business communication startup, engaged SPK/Lewis to provide pre-construction and CM services for their New York City office build-out. The project was completed successfully, on-time and on-budget, with the future growth and evolution of the business in mind, thus resulting in a vibrant space that will serve the company for years to come. This interior fit-out of the full floor office included flexible workstations, acoustic considerations for meeting rooms, one and two-person "telephone" booths, a reception area that opens into a large, multi-functional space, and a commercial kitchen and pantry. The project also featured enlarged industrial skylights, custom planters, bamboo privacy screens, and grow lights within the green office.
