Turtle Bay Music School
Turtle Bay Music School, a music school on 38th Street, engaged SPK/Lewis to provide general construction services. The project was completed successfully, on-time and on-budget, with the future growth and evolution of the business in mind, thus resulting in a spectacular space that will serve the company for years to come. This project’s design highlights included acoustically treated practice rooms, restrooms designed for all ages and a flexible recital hall. The renovation combined two commercial condo units, which increased this NYC institution's footprint by more than 50% and added an array of informal gathering spaces, flexible auditorium space, music studios, and increased accessibility.
